Hometown:
Lundbreck, Alberta
Relationship Status:
Married
About Me:
Retired oilpatch surveyor, now writing full time.
Interest include history, military history, science and technology, Buddhism, Taoism, politics -- I write from all of them.
I run the dogs for an hour or more every morning, rain, shine or blizzard. We have an energy efficient house that we started in 1984, way before most others saw where energy prices were going -- I guess being in the business helped. Our winter heating bill is not much more than the cost of a wood cutting permit from the forest just behind us -- provided the sun shines.
From my room, I can see out into worlds that no one else knows.

Favorite Music:
Classical -- Bach, Bartok, Shostakovich, Mozart, Mahler, Stravinsky, Handel, Sibelius, Beethoven, Glass, Puccini, Verdi, Rossini -- who've I forgotten?
Bluegrass and New Orleans Jazz.
World Music.
Favorite TV Shows:
Not that keen on TV and movies -- mistrust most TV channels.
I watch Masterpiece Theatre, Royal Canadian Air Farce, Frontline, Fifth Estate, The National, Last of the Summer Wine and other quirky Brit shows on PBS. We're lucky to have the most civilised PBS station -- KSPS Spokane -- in our area.

Christopher: I didn't even mention the vanishing ligterary agents, scam artists, crooks, and incompetents who'd gladly take your money, but never find you a publisher
At least we're not in the freelance spy business like that Italian who fabricated the yellow cake uranium letter only to find he's bought on a war and the deaths of thousands of people. Nothing like lighting amatch in a fireworks factory and running around yelling fire.
